According to the design assignment, reconstruction and new construction of the Imam Al Bukhari complex is expected on the allocated territory. The Imam Al Bukhari complex includes a mosque, a mausoleum, an entrance ayvan, an exit ayvan, a yard ayvan, an administrative building, a service building and 4 minarets. New memorial complex of Imam Al Bukhari in Payaryk district of Samarkand region. Construction of a mosque for 10,000 prayer places with four high minarets, an administrative building, a service building, a room for ritual ablution and ayvans.
One-storey mosque with basement:
1 floor – 3,388 m2, volume 63,015 m3, ground floor – 3,722 m2, volume - 20,400 m3; 4 pieces of small domes with a diameter of 8.8 m, including a building, volume of each 636 m3x4 pieces = 2,544 m3; 1 large dome with a diameter of 20.68 m, including a building with a volume of 4,940 m3 with a drum, dome sphere with a diameter of 30.12 m, including a building with a volume of 7,100.8 m3; Total area - 7,102 m2, volume - 83,415 m3; Total capacity of the mosque - 9,020 prayer places.
The building has 4 elevators with a capacity of 800 kg from the ground floor to the roof. There is an observation deck on the roof of the mosque.
Mausoleum with ayvan:
- ayvan around the mausoleum – 1,822 m2, basement with gallery - 3,457 m2; above-ground part of the mausoleum - 141 m2, ayvan volume – 13,482 m3, basement – 16,149 m3, mausoleum volume 3992 m3, elevator - 2 pcs., Dome over the mausoleum with a diameter of 9.0 m including the dome structure volume 584.2 m3; There are 2 domes over the ayvans with a diameter of 8.25 m, including a building volume of 300.5 m3x2 pieces = 600.1 m3; Total: area 5,420 m2, building volume – 34,223.1 m3.

The project provides for a tunnel for visiting the mausoleum of Imam Al Bukhari. The dimensions and capacity of infrastructure facilities are determined by the project in accordance with the current standards of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the assigned tasks for the project, taking into account the special uniqueness of the facility.
