The production facilities established within the framework of the project provide for development of ferrosilicomanganese production by Uzmetkombinat JSC with an annual capacity of 10.0 thousand tons. The main raw material will be manganese concentrate based on the Dautash manganese ore deposit in Kashkadarya region. The project solves a complex of production, technical and social issues, including:

• ensuring maximum flexibility of technological processes;
• creating conditions for the most appropriate organization of technological processes and logistics concepts;
• compliance with environmental protection requirements;
• improving the architectural qualities of planning and development of the enterprise.

The space-planning solution for the complex “Organization of ferrosilicomanganese production” is based on the technological production schemes presented by the customer. Technological solutions include reconstruction of existing buildings and design of new buildings and structures, as well as use of ferrosilicon production infrastructure and the existing positions of Uzmetkombinat JSC in general. Industrial complex consists of (new construction):

• Production facility;
• Gas purification;
• Dust collection system;

Warehouse (raw materials) complex consisting of:

• Finished product warehouse with crushing department (existing building)

Auxiliary buildings and structures:

• Gas purification control room (existing building, equipment capacity is being expanded);
• Pumping station with cooling tower;
• Area for preparing casings for electrodes;
• Compressor station.

The site is located near the Ayritma railway station, equipped with railway access roads (Karshi-Samarkand) and a highway. Site structure: a checkpoint, an administrative building, a steel shed, 30-ton truck scales, 60-ton truck scales, warehouses for raw materials and finished products. The total area of the site is 9.95 hectares, the area under construction is 1.0 hectare.
